Fun Fact: the crisper drawer of the refrigerator was originally designed as a marinating container / prep tub for cooking turkeys. however as the average american cooks a turkey only once a year, the crisper drawer had to be remarketed for a different use the other 364 days a year, like say, keeping vegetables.
