Oh ya’ll didn’t know? Yeah you can get charged with distribution/possession of child pornography if you have your own underage nudes and/or post them online or share them with a partner…regardless of whether or not you are now legally an adult and regardless of the fact that the pictures are of yourself. This is why I tell all my underage followers, please PLEASE do NOT take nudes and send them to someone or post them anywhere it’s not a matter of someone telling you how to live your life and what to do with your body…it is literally illegal for you to do so.
The problem with this is the contradiction of charging him as an adult for sharing pictures of himself at the age of 17. If the pictures of him are as a minor at the age of 17 he should be charged as a minor. Since he is being charged as an adult this will follow him for the rest of his life. He cannot get it expunged and he will be a sex offender for life. I don’t think it’s a good idea for minors to share nudes amongst themselves but I don’t think it’s a good idea to ruin their lives for being kids.
