Casual reminder that Harry Potter’s parents were killed when they were 21

It makes me so angry that the movie made them all seem so much older. That’s part of why it was such a tragedy. “Young Sirius Black” was 21 when his best friends and his godson were taken from him.

Twenty one.

So when Sirius broke out of Azkaban 12 years later he would be in his mid-thirties.

I hate this part of the story, because it’s so sad. And I hate this part of the movie, because they overlooked one of the most important parts of the ridiculously sad story.
