owlmylove:

real talk guys: Agent Carter is in trouble. while it’s easy to get swept up in amazing gifsets from the show and decrying the possible cancellation on our blogs, that’s not what the company executives are going to look at when considering the ratings. however there are ways to help that are no harder than reblogging!

  • the first 4 episodes of Agent Carter are available for free on Hulu. even if you don’t want to watch the show (though why would you not?) just click here. mute the sound, open another tab, and just leave the page open for a couple hours. the episodes will play one after another automatically, the ratings will improve, and you never have to lift a finger. I’ve been working on schoolwork for the past 2 hours, and I’ve had two episodes play in the background the whole time without a single distraction. it’s awesome.
  • tweet #AgentCarter. you could literally say “#AgentCarter is great” – no more, no less, copy-paste that sentence – and it’d still help the tag’s chances of trending. if you want to really be awesome, tweet regularly. once a day, or once every meal, or once every 2 hours. say “#AgentCarter was rocking those heels in episode 3”, or “loving the accents in #AgentCarter” or just do some capslocked keysmashing followed by #AgentCarter. whatever floats your boat!

I know that saving a show is a big thing – a big, scary task that requires accomplishments like a million signatures or a million dollars or a cable subscription or hours of spare time – but it’s not. if you just watch one video, or give one tweet, that’s huge. if two people watch a video or tweet, that’s even better. you don’t need to make t-shirts or signs or organize protests. just little things, like using a hashtag or keeping a video open on your computer, can mean so much. every little act of ours can help save the show. what little acts are you willing to make?
